A short documentary film telling the "Picture Bride" story of the Issei (first-generation) Japanese Americans through the eyes of the nisei, sansei, yonsei, and gosei. History, family and romance.

Also my very first documentary project. 

Originally made for the University of Tokyo's Summer Hands-on Programme, held in Los Angeles and led by Professor Yuko Itatsu and Kohki Watabe.
